Deborah Brawner & Satya Ma Teasley
Whidbey Island Atelier

Deborah Brawner is an oil and cold wax painter whose work is inspired by the landscapes, coastal atmosphere, and quiet beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her work explores texture, light, memory, and a sense of place. After retiring as a US Navy Chief, she chose to return to Whidbey Island to create art and build community through creativity. Deborah believes art has the power to connect people and create meaningful shared experiences.

Satya Ma Teasley, an oil painter, is profoundly driven to honor the ineffable and abiding presence in all. Whether painting angels, saints or sages, peaceful still life motifs or landscapes, Satya Ma endeavours to express her awe, gratitude and joy.
