  • I love visiting new and foreign places and meeting people. Then, learning as much about them as possible.
  • I am a stroke survivor and can no longer whistle.
  • Outside of a dog, a book is a persons best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.

  • I am obsessed with a good crime story. Real or imagined.
  • I absolutely love teaching. Especially photography.
  • I ALWAYS have my camera with me.
  • I will always accept a good bourbon (Buffalo Trace) and little Old Tobey.
  • I love working in the studio and listening to jazz & blues.
  • Sleeping in means getting up by 7:00am.
  • Getting lost is an adventure, and an opportunity.
  • There’s nothing like the smell, warmth and the crack of an open campfire.
  • Arriving early is on time.
  • I never miss an opportunity to tell my friends how special they are.
  • I always accept an invitation to a museum or an art gallery.
  • I respect and make instant friends with wait staff and maintenance workers.
  • I love my wife more than she knows. She is my raison d’etre.

These statements make me who I am and form my passion for life, art and photography.
