Arrianne carves glass to uncover the beauty of form and to demonstrate the relationship between light, texture, and mass. She plays with the transformative surface of glass. This is done by a manipulation of the surface of glass, which effects the texture of the material.

Founded by kiln-glass artist Arrianne Jane Bright, aJane Glass Studio & Gallery is a welcoming creative space on Whidbey Island where visitors can experience fused glass through original artwork, hands-on classes, and walk-in make-it projects for all ages and skill levels.

With more than 23 years in glass art — including 13 years with Bullseye Glass — Arrianne has studied, taught, and collaborated with artists internationally, including in Ireland, Italy, and Finland. Her work explores the transformative nature of glass, using carving and surface manipulation to reveal form through light, texture, and depth.
