Katrina Hude Glassmaker
Katrina Hude lives on Whidbey Island in Washington State. She began working with glass as an undergraduate at California College of Arts and Crafts and then, received an MFA from San Jose Sate Univ. California in sculpture in 1995. She was awarded fellowship at The Creative Glass Center of America and Emerging Artist in Residence at the Pilchuck Glass School. Katrina lectures and has demonstrated in Japan, Australia. Here in the US, she was an Artist in Residence at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Katrina also participated in the International Glass Symposium at Novy Bor, Czech Republic, the Glass Art Society Conference, Toledo, Ohio and the California Glass Exchange in Oakland, CA, and was an Artist in Residence at the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, Ohio. Solo exhibition at Thompson Giroux Gallery, Chatham, NY.
